Free downloads of Thomas Becker's tunes -- electronic music in several genres
This is the main page for downloading my music. It contains the major part of the tunes which I make public on the internet, in MP3 format (at 128 kbps). The remaining part, more precisely those which I made with a Commodore Amiga 500 computer in the nineties, are available in a separate section. I have dozens of tunes not made public, some of which I may publish in future, together with new ones.
My productions are created mostly with computer and electronic instruments; synthesizers, samplers, effects. Some tunes contain also electric and classical guitar melodies played by myself. In the course of my compositional activity, started in year 1991, I have liked to touch several genres of electronic music, thus you'll find a variegated catalogue.
I specify that the titles which I have given to my tunes are not to be intended as a listening must. Except a few cases, I think the titles after finishing the composition, as a listening suggestion but above all to make the tune recognizable, for example when one wants to find it. Some experiments indicate that any title or subject be associated with an instrumental tune, the listener tries to justify it, often succeeding.

Use the sliding menu on the left (or the site map) to navigate also to the other sections, where you'll find for example my musical videoclips.
Some technical instructions for downloading: to download a tune and keep it on your hard disk, right-click on its name and select "save target as". Using instead left-click, the tune will be opened directly by your media player, but you won't conserve the file after listening. This instructions may vary depending on the browser you're using, and on installed programs (e.g. a download manager).
Please read the following short text (in the blue box) about usage of my music, where I also explain under which circumstances it is not only allowed, but even encouraged to freely distribute my works. If you are interested only in private listening, you can jump at once to the catalogue.

PUBLISHING, DISTRIBUTION AND LICENSING

I am also interested in usage of my music in films, documentaries, TV programs, exhibitions, theatre plays, computer products (e.g. videogames, multimedia CDs or DVDs, demos), in broadcasting from radio stations, and more.
If you want to use my music in your commercial productions (e.g. like those listed here above), please contact me to arrange a deal (except if you're already in contact with my publisher Soundiva). All my music available on my online music archive is registered at SIAE - the italian association of artists and editors -- a performing rights organization.
If you don't have commercial purposes, I currently encourage you to spread my music everywhere. Copy it to your friends, burn a CD for your parents, put it on file sharing networks... and all you can think of! But please inform me in case of usage of my tunes in your own productions, even if distributed without charge (e.g. promotional and informative videos), except if they will be distributed among a restricted group; only between relatives, friends and aquaintances.
In case of not here mentioned situations, please contact me for an agreement.
For further information regarding usage of my works, visit the users area of SIAE's web site (the site is in italian language). SIAE has agreements with sister organizations in many nations, so you can inform yourself by contacting the performing rights organizations which work in your land (e.g. ASCAP, GEMA, SACEM, PRS, APRA, ...).
